Dreams Come True

Discover Your Purpose Within Your Dreams…

A Woman Meets Jesus in A Dream About Heaven

There Is More To Come

Guest Post Written by Nasrin Zaboli

I spent a few days at a women’s retreat in the Georgia Mountains earlier this Nasrinmonth. A banquet awaited us as we arrived that evening. The facilities were basic, but the tables were elegantly decorated.

While observing the surroundings, there were lavishly decorated tables with variety of sumptuous food. There were anticipative looks on the women’s faces, and energy in the air.

I had a distinct feeling that I had experienced this event in the past. Suddenly, a dream I had many years ago came to mind. On the last night of the retreat, I had an opportunity to share my dream with everyone there. In this article, I’m going to share the dream I recorded in my dream journal.

April 2003 (From my journal.)

I was at a banquet along with many other women. The table was marvelously decorated with all kinds of food in shapes and colors undiscovered on this earth.

“This food must be from heaven.” I thought to myself.

As we sat at the table, the Chef came out. He had prepared all the food by himself! Everyone applauded. My friend sitting next to me whispered in my ear, “He is loaded.”

“Why then is he cooking for us?” I thought.

The chef then looked into my eyes and with a loving smile said, “There is more to come.” He was still cooking! In the dream, I suddenly realized that Jesus was the chef.

I believe the relationships I made at the retreat are so significant in my future that God gave me a dream about it.

Begin journaling your profound dreams. Write down as much detail as you remember and the emotions the dream evoked. You never know when God maybe speaking to you!

In the Bible, the Lord used dreams for various reasons. There were times when God used a dream to reveal prophecy.

Other times dreams were used to give a warning, to encourage, or to communicate a wonderful promise or a clear direction.

The fulfillment of the dreams sometimes occurred many years later after various events transpired; and the meaning of the dreams were not always immediately apparent.

Not all dreams bear a message from God. Most dreams are natural and have nothing to do with communications with God. Yet I believe today, God uses dreams to convey a message to us personally.

What Does It Mean To Dream About Finding a Separate Section in Your Home You Never Knew Existed?

Dream Interpretation: Dreams about finding a new section within your home, you never new existed, means God is opening up doors ofclock opportunity in creativity, business or ministry in your life.

Have you ever had a dream about discovering a new room (or section) within your home that never existed before?

This is a very common dream among many people. I have had similar dreams in the past. Within the dream, I would walk around and suddenly find a new section I never knew existed.

Most people will interpret this dream as a sign from God that it’s time to remodel his/her home. Some people may even go as far as running down to nearest Home Depot to stock up on home remodeling supplies. This is why dream interpretation ‘from God’ is important.

At the time I had the dream, I didn’t think it really meant anything important. The dream just left me with a positive feeling when I woke up.

After prayer and research, I have learned that this type of dream isn’t just a feel-good dream that should be ignored.

Dream symbols have different meanings for different people.

However, there are certain dreams many of us share. Some people define this type of dream as a ‘creative dream’.

I remember attending a dream course several months ago. The instructor asked the class if anyone has ever had a dream about discovering a new wing or section within his/her home. I didn’t raise my hand because I wasn’t sure if she was going to say something negative or positive.

I imagined myself raising my hand and the instructor saying, “That means you’re going to die soon.”

I know we all have to die some day, I just didn’t want to die before my time.

It’s never too late to discover your passion.

An older woman was bold enough to raise her hand. At the time, I figured that she had nothing to lose—she lived a full life.

The instructor revealed the dream meant new areas of creativity opening up in a person’s life. Then the instructor asked the woman if she ever experienced new areas of creativity.

The elderly woman mentioned that when she retired, she discovered a new passion. She started painting, and she was thinking about displaying her artwork in an art gallery. She was even thinking about participating in a local art show. The woman never used her gift for painting until after having the dream.

This is proof that it is never too late for someone to discover and fulfill his/her passion.

This made me re-evaluate the dreams I had in the past. However, I didn’t take the instructor’s word for it; I was determined to find out God’s interpretation.

He revealed to me what the dream really meant. God’s dream interpretation goes much deeper than man’s interpretation.

The interpretation for a believer of Christ means that God is opening new avenues of opportunity in creativity, business or ministry for His Kingdom.

The good thing about having this type of dream is that it comes directly from God. If you’re not sure what door of opportunity God has opened for you, simply ask Him.

If you have ever had this type of dream, write the details down in your dream journal. Then pray a short prayer. Ask Him to reveal the area of opportunity that He desires you to fulfill. He will answer your prayer. Make sure you have faith that He’s really going to answer.

Imagine God opening an area of opportunity you never knew existed?

God is not like us, he is very unpredictable. It reminds me of discovering a diamond in the rough. It is a great reminder that we’re not born to be working stiffs that lead boring lives.

Great opportunities aren’t just for a select few in this world. God has given us all a purpose. He wants us to enjoy our lives while living on earth.

What Does God Have Planned for Your Future?

Where do you see yourself 5 years from now, 3 years, or even 1 year from now?

Many people have their plans written out and their calendars marked in advanced.

Then you have people that know they want to be successful, or further ahead in life, but they’re not quite sure what route to take to achieve their goals.

Take a deep breath and let me relieve you of any doubts about your future success. Your future looks bright and God has a dream embedded within your heart. Yes, when God created you, He embedded a dream within your heart.

Within your heart, you will find your hidden treasure. Your hidden treasure is your ‘purpose’. Your purpose is what you were born to do on this earth.

Finding out what God has in store for your future requires action on your part. The action requires ‘asking’.

Remember the scripture: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” -Matthew 7:7

This is the first step of the discovery process.

When you ask God about your future, He will give you an answer. I am a witness. Here are a few tips to follow on your journey to discovering your hidden treasure.

Be Specific

Now is not the time to beat around the bush. When you ask God about your future, make sure you’re specific in what you want to know. For example, if your goal is to start your own business one day, ask: “Lord, what type of business do you see me going into?”

If you want to start your own ministry to help others, ask Him: “Lord, what type of ministry do you want me to start?”

Even if you know what type of business or ministry you desire to go into, consider asking Him before taking the ultimate plunge. The ideas that you have for career, business or ministry may be totally different from what God has planned for you.

When you discover what you’re born to do, you can’t go wrong – you’re outcome will be successful.

Erase All Doubt in Your Heart

Before you ask God about your future, make sure that you erase any kind of doubt. Doubt will block your answer from God. When you apply faith to your ‘asking’, He will answer you.

Focus on God

When you focus on God it shows Him that you’re serious. He loves it when we’re focused on Him, especially when you’re asking Him to reveal your hidden treasure.

How do you ‘focus’ on God? This may seem like a simple question, but many people do not know exactly how to focus on God. Focus means meditating (or pondering) on Him, and only Him when you’re asking Him to reveal your hidden treasure.

How Will He Answer You?

God communicates with human beings in a variety of ways. One way is through dreams. One night I asked God to reveal what I was destined to do in life. He answered my prayer within a dream. When I woke up, I recorded the dream on paper. Hidden within the dream was my hidden treasure.

In a separate dream, God asked me to write a book about Dreams. He even told me to entitle it ‘Dreams Come True’. I extended the title to: Dreams Come True: Discovering Your Hidden Treasure. This book was written to help others discover his or her hidden treasure.

In my book, I share 6 steps to discovering your hidden treasure (or purpose). I share my experience with dreams and how God has revealed secrets about the future. Most of all, I reveal how God can give you dreams and make them come true.

You never know what God has in store for you. He has given people inventions, innovative ideas and He has even solved world problems through dreams. God truly wants to reveal your future within your dreams.  He’s just waiting for you to ‘ask’.

Have You Ever Dreamed About Heaven?

Sometimes God will give you a glimpse of eternity within a dream. This is what happened to me one night, back in the early 2000s. I dreamed that I was driving down this street in a crime infested neighborhood. I was ticked that the light turned red. I despised this area so much that I didn’t even want to be stuck at a red light. I double checked to see if the car doors were locked.

I had to ride down this particular street during the weekdays in order to get to the train station. Although this is in a small town in the suburbs, it has a very high crime rate. You wouldn’t want to walk around the town alone (day or night). Drug dealers and winos had the area on lock-down.

Commuters had no other choice, but to take this particular train into Manhattan. Otherwise, they would have to travel 30 minutes out of the way.

Anyway, within the dream, I couldn’t wait until the light turned green so that I could take off as fast as possible. If it wasn’t for the cars in front of me, I would have ran the red light. I could care less about getting a ticket.

Finally, when the light turned green, the area suddenly changed right before my eyes. It was so beautiful. The roads were immaculate. Broken beer bottles on the ground and garbage were replaced with beautiful flowers and trees. The old dilapidated buildings changed into brand new buildings. The architecture was indescribable.

I couldn’t help myself. I stepped out and walked away from my car. I didn’t care that the keys were still in the ignition and the door left wide open.

People who would normally curse and yell while walking down the street where now walking around with smiles upon their faces. Curses were replaced with: ‘How are you today?” “Thank you very much!” and “Have a nice day.”

There was a run down store on the corner that you wouldn’t want to be caught dead inside. The store changed into a luxury boutique. It was unbelievable.

There were crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The floors were made of some sort of marble, onyx stone. The merchandise was replaced with fine China dinnerware. It reminded me of the old Fortunoff stores of the 1980s – only more luxurious.

There was a picturesque man standing at the store entrance holding a silver tray greeting people as they came into the store. I wondered if he was a servant because he was dressed in a three piece tuxedo.

Then I saw a woman dressed in a beautiful white dress with embedded diamonds. She was setting up a crystal vase onto a glass display shelf. As I walked around, I was taken aback. Then I heard classical music playing in the background. That’s when I knew, this was a glimpse of Heaven.

I turned around and walked out of the store. As I walked back to my car, old houses in the area were replaced with mansions.

Then I woke up.

I didn’t record this dream on paper at the time. However, I remember every detail as if I had the dream last night.

Why Does God Give Dreams From Heaven?

He gives us dreams from Heaven to comfort and encourage us – as well as others. It’s the perfect reminder that Heaven awaits those who are prepared to go to Heaven.  John 3:16 reads:

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Has God ever given you a dream about Heaven?  Please feel free to share your experience.

Last Night I Had a Bad Dream About Getting Stabbed… What Does That Mean?

Warning Dreams Can Prevent Tragedy…

It felt like my heart was pounding a mile a minute. I just woke up from an awful warning dream one night. I dreamed that I was standing on line at a crowded grocery store, and a woman jumped in front of me with her shopping cart without saying, “Sorry.”

Deep in my heart I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me to let it go.

I couldn’t.

So, I said to the woman, “Excuse me, but…”

Then I felt the nudge again not to say another word, but I kept talking.

“You can’t just cut in front of people without saying, ‘sorry’,” I said to the woman.

The woman glared at me and didn’t bother to argue back.

Finally, when it was my turn to purchase my items, I felt a great sense relief for sticking up for myself. In the past, people would cut in front of me without apologizing and I would let it go. Not this time! No one was going to take advantage of me, especially when I was in a hurry.

When I got out into the parking lot, the woman appeared before me with her dark eerie-looking eyes, and without saying a word, she pulled out a sharp knife and began stabbing me multiple times. As she was stabbing me, she had an unpleasant animated expression on her dark, drawn face.

When I woke up, I was relieved that it was only a dream. It felt so real.

Sometimes God will give you warning dreams that can prevent tragedy in your life or in the lives of others. Never ignore your warning dreams as ‘just another dream.’

A few days later, I had to go food shopping at the same store I had in the dream. I was standing on line and a woman jumped in front of me without saying, “Excuse me.”

I can’t believe this, how dare she! You can’t just go around jumping in front of people at grocery store lines!  I thought to myself.

I felt like giving her a piece of her mind. Then suddenly, the dream I had a few nights before came to my mind. I didn’t say a word!  The warning dream that God gave me saved my life.

Although I had this dream several years ago, it feels as though I had the dream last night.

Sometimes God will give you warning dreams that can prevent tragedy in your life or in the lives of others. Never ignore your warning dreams as ‘just another dream.’ I am so glad I didn’t ignore my warning dream. Who knows what could have happened if I labeled it as just a dream.

You Can Have Anything You Want… Just Say “Yes”

I had to be around 8 years old. It was a warm and sunny Sunday afternoon after church in Jamaica, Queens. My parents were talking to one of the elders of the church.

Before the conversation ended, he smiled at me with a twinkle in his eye and asked, “What kind of toy do you want? I’ll take you to any toy store you want. What’s your favorite toy store?”

I looked at my parents’ facial expressions to see if they approved and they were smiling.

I answered, “Toys R Us.”

He was serious because he asked me one last time.

I paused before answering, “No, that’s okay,”

I was afraid to say “yes” because I assumed that my parents would say, “no way.”

About twenty minutes later, I suddenly changed my mind, but it was too late. We were already on the Southern State Parkway heading back home.

I regretted answering ‘no’. As I was riding along side my mom in my dad’s black pickup truck, we passed the exit to the mall. I imagined what it would have been like picking out a new doll at ‘Toys R Us.’ I said to myself, If he asks me again, I’m going to say ‘yes’ this time.

The following Sunday after church, I waited for him to ask me once again and he never asked. He just smiled, waved his hand at me and went about his business.

I had a choice and I blew it. I could have gone to the toy store at that moment when He asked. It’s not like I would have gone to the store with him alone. My parents would have been right by my side. However, it was too late, I made the final decision.

Sometimes that’s how we are with God. He’s just waiting to bless us and we are afraid to take Him up on His offer because we allow fear to take control.

Has God ever given you an idea, or even a dream and you know it’s from him, but you assume it’s too good to be true? If so, you are not alone. I’ve done this a thousand times. I never came straight out and said, “No, I don’t want to be blessed!”

Instead, my fear and doubt spoke for me and answered, “No, that’s okay.”

I’ve learned that all you have to do is have faith and trust in Him and He will lead your path in the right direction. You don’t have to worry if the end results will work out because when God asks you … “What do you want?” , you can answer with full confidence because it will work out.

Never Let Your Dreams Die

One of the best feelings in the world is to wake up in the morning and know what your purpose is in life…

Six years ago, I remember having an intense conversation with someone about my goals and dreams. After revealing my dreams, the person told me that I missed the opportunity to fulfill them. In her eyes, I had plenty of time ‘back in the day’, but somehow I had missed the boat. I tried defending myself by saying, “Just because my dreams haven’t come to past yet doesn’t mean they won’t come true in the future.”

The woman smirked and said, “Just give them up – it’s not going to happen!”

My dreams were like a garden in a desert just waiting for spring rain showers. I did everything I was supposed to do as a Christian. I prayed often and I had faith in God that He would direct my path. However, I still couldn’t find my niche in life. I desperately wanted my dreams to come true, but I wasn’t sure what path to take in order to fulfill them.

What are you supposed to do when God gives you a dream and you’re not sure how to make it come true? I’ve learned that He can help you make them come true. All you have to do is ask for his guidance and He will lead you in the right direction.

Never Give Up on Your Dreams!

After this woman nearly shattered my dreams, she told me to give them up and settle for a regular ‘Just Over Broke’ (Job) – even if it wasn’t associated with my gift. I am a strong believer that God has given us unique gifts for a reason. I also believe that it’s meant for us to use our gift as a way to make a good living – whether it’s a job where you can utilize your gift or a business opportunity.

If God has given you a dream about creating an invention, why settle for a career or business opportunity that you absolutely despise. Why not ask God to help you fulfill the dream that He has already given you? God has done this for many people. All we have to do is ask Him for help. He will provide everything we need to fulfill our dreams.

Ignore Negative Talk

One night God gave me a dream about writing a book. I wasn’t 100 percent sure how to start writing the book, so I asked him for pointers. Little by little, God began to give me hints on how to write the book. He even led me on who to contact to create the book cover design.

Imagine if I ignored God’s dream and listened to negative advice from other people. What if I ignored God and applied for a dead-end job? I would have never written the book.

The point here is …when God gives you a dream, you don’t have to settle for second best. God desires us all to have the best in life.

Sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns and blot out all of the negative information people try to download into your heart and trust God for yourself.

Your Dreams Can & Will Come True

I didn’t realize it at the time, the only thing I needed to do was talk to God about my goals and aspirations (nobody else). After all, He’s the manufacturer of dreams.

I am a strong believer that every single human being is born with a purpose. Unfortunately, not everyone is encouraging when it comes to fulfilling your purpose.

Years later, my season of drought was completely over. The day that God revealed my purpose, it felt like the sun and rain showers came over me and I began to flourish. He will not only reveal to you what you’re supposed to do with your life (i.e. business, career, ministry, etc.) He can give you step-by-step directions on how to make your dreams come true.

I Dreamed the Gov’t Declared It Illegal to Work From Home

Whether you’re a writer, graphic designer, singer or a carpenter, God has given us all gifts. We all have a purpose. Entrepreneurship is not only the ‘fabric of our nation’ – it drives economic growth.

Unfortunately, there are some people who may have a desire to change this in the near future.

The one thing I love about living in the US is that everyone has the opportunity to exercise his/her gifts.

Will the Government Try to Ban Working From Home?

This morning, I woke up from an unusual dream. I dreamed that I was walking down a city street and someone told me that the government is trying to pass regulations to ban people from working from home.

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing until I saw a woman, who used to work from home, rushing to her first day on the job at an office. She hated the fact that she had to leave the comfort of her home office to board a dingy subway train to commute to work. Will this dream come to pass?

Yahoo! Bans Work From Home …Who’s Next?

When I woke up, I couldn’t imagine myself giving up utilizing my gift to work at a dead-end job. Later on, I searched online to see if there were any related current news similar to my dream.

Then I stumbled upon the story about Yahoo’s No-Work-From-Home memo demanding their employees to stop working from home. The shareholders and bigwigs of the company were pleasantly surprised about the CEO’s decision to force their workers to stop working from home.

They claimed that productivity will skyrocket once people work in an office environment. One worker mentioned in a magazine interview that she’s so glad that they finally decided to make everyone work in an office. She mentioned that she has kids and they were distracting her from getting her work done.

Everyone’s situation is different. Not everyone is designed to work from home so-to-speak …what about those who enjoy the freedom of working from home who are very productive.

When this memo leaked out in the mainstream, Twitter lit up with negative comments from hard working entrepreneurs and work from home employees. Many people think it is absolutely wrong to take away someone’s right to work from home.

This reminds me of a discussion I had with someone about entrepreneurship a few years ago. The person’s definition of an entrepreneur (or someone who works from home) was a person who talks about being an entrepreneur, but never makes money. There are some people out there who actually believe this negative idea.

Let’s face it, there are some companies out there that don’t want people to be independent because they fear the employee will benefit just a little too much in the long run. In other words, if I own a big corporation and I allow you to work from home, you may start having creative ideas. You may start activating your gifts and actually become successful and quit your job. If everyone has the opportunity to live his/her dream and start a business or work from home, then the company will not benefit.

The Real Solution: Why not just allow those who are productive at working from home continue to work from home. If it’s not broken don’t fix it! Then offer people the option to work from an office if they want. Offer an incentive for those who decide to work from the office. This may work a lot better than forcing everyone to give up his/her freedom to work from home.

No One Can Stop You From Pursuing Your God Given Dreams

There is one thing for sure, rules and regulations may pass that can hinder people from working from home, but no one can stop you from living your dream. When God gives you an idea to start a business or an idea to create the next big invention, no man or woman can hold you down! After all, He created us all – He is in control of our destiny – not society.

How to Find Your Dream Job While You Sleep At Night

Yesterday I read an interesting ad in a magazine about an empowerment summit  coming to Atlanta, GA this year. One of the highlight discussions is about ‘Finding Your Dream Job’.

I can only imagine what will take place at the seminar. The host will more than likely recruit a speaker who is already living her dreams.

She will lay out the foundation of her speech by giving her ‘I’ story. Then she will give a multitude of tips on how to find your dream job. She will even tell you to whip out your notebook and ‘write this down’. The usual tips given at many of these events are:

  • Brand yourself.
  • Restructure your resume.
  • Optimize your LinkedIn profile.
  • Get rid if all of your shady Facebook pictures.
  • Apply to several jobs you like.
  • Sit and wait for an interview from a potential employer. Hopefully, you’ll get hired. Remember, nothing in life is guaranteed.

These are all good tips, don’t get me wrong. However, there is one thing that’s missing.

I’m sure only a handful of people will actually find his/her dream job after attending this event. The question is …what if you have trouble finding your dream job? What if your dream job is not within your reach?

You have to first define the true definition of a dream job. Let’s admit, there is a large majority of us in this world who still haven’t found his/her dream job.

Many people forget about ‘enjoyment’ and ‘fulfillment’. A dream job is supposed to be something that you actually enjoy doing.

For many people, a dream job consists of…

  • A job that earns you thousands of dollars (or millions).
  • Work from home whenever you want.
  • Take vacation more than once a year.
  • A company car and an expense account.

This is just the beginning for many people.

One Important Thing People Forget

Many people forget about ‘enjoyment’ and ‘fulfillment’. A dream job is supposed to be something that you actually enjoy doing. This brings me to my personal definition of a dream job…

  • You can utilize your God given gifts.
  • A career that allows creative freedom.
  • Create your own opportunities.
  • Plan your own schedule (off Sundays!).
  • Do something you actually enjoy doing.
  • Earn what you’re worth.

God gives us free will. We all have choices. You can choose to find your dream job or work at a job that you don’t particularly like for the rest of your life. Unfortunately, many people choose the latter.

How to Find Your Dream Job

I once heard Myles Munroe mention in one of his YouTube videos about ‘success’ and he said, if your job was taken away from you today, would you be miserable? If not, then your job is not for you.

In other words, if you wake up every morning staring at the ceiling wishing that you didn’t have to go to work because you absolutely hate your job, then you  haven’t found your dream job.

I remember having a job few years ago. I didn’t mind it at first because at least I was able to write. I didn’t mind waking up at 5:30 a.m. to take a 2 hour train and subway ride to get to work because the job was directly related to my gift. At least it gave me time to think.

However, it wasn’t my ‘dream job’. For one, it didn’t pay what I was worth and I didn’t have creative freedom. My creativity was extremely limited.

I eventually left that job and decided to take the bull by the horns and create my own opportunities.

Here are the 3 steps to finding your dream job…

Step #1: Ask: Ask God for a dream about your ‘dream job’.
Step #2: Dream it.
Step #3: Ignite: Take action and fulfill your dream.

What does Ask, Dream and Ignite have to do with finding a dream job? Why not just pick the one thing you enjoy doing and call it a day? Because what you ‘think’ is your passion may not be your true passion. Suppose God has something greater for you to do?

For example, what I thought was my passion (or dream job) wasn’t truly my passion by a long shot.

How I Found My Dream Job

I once asked God to show me what I’m really supposed to do with my life as far as career and ministry. Then one night, He gave me a dream.

I had hidden a gift that I buried long ago. I assumed that it was too late to pursue my passion. Within my dream, I discovered that one of my gifts was my true passion and what I’m really suppose to do in life.

God Can Reveal Your Dream Job

Imagine God revealing your dream job within a dream? It is possible. In fact, I explain this in more detail in my new book, Dreams Come True: Discover your Hidden Treasure. In this book, I lay out step-by-step instructions on how to discover what you’re really suppose to do in life – whether it’s career or ministry. A Prophetic Dream About Chardon High School Shooting 30 Minutes Before it Happened

Today marks the anniversary of the Chardon High School shooting. One year ago today, I woke up at 7:30 am from a very unusual dream.

I dreamed that I was in a high school auditorium preparing for a fashion show. The teens involved in the show ran out of the auditorium from the emergency exit.

I was in a panic because the audience was ready to get the show on the road and the models were nowhere to be found.

I announced in the microphone,”The show will begin momentarily.” I immediately left the stage to try and find the girls. I was ready to give them a piece of my mind.

As I searched for them, I muttered under my breath, “So unprofessional.”

When I finally got outside, I decided to give up trying to look for them. As I walked down the street, I just shook my head. Then I was suddenly in the yard of a high school that was over 530 miles away from home.

I noticed kids running around uncontrollably. There was mayhem in the air. “Someone should really control these kids,” I thought to myself.

I assumed they were just clowning around, but then a kid in a hooded jogging suit caught my eye. He was running after the kids with a gun in his hand.

I quickly walked towards the side of the school close to the cafeteria. Then suddenly there were hundreds of kids screaming from the top of their lungs. I watched them in the distance through a gate and saw them jumping on top of one another. They were trying to hold down the shooter.

Then a teacher came running out from the building towards the crowd of kids. He pulled out one of the kids from the crowd and discovered that the child had a massive gunshot wound. He stretched the child’s body out and prayed for him.

As I began to wake up from the dream, I heard a voice of an angel say the following:

  1. Make a genuine contact
  2. Escape in the Lord
  3. Wait for a response
  4. Transmission

The youth leader’s prayers were transported to heaven.

When I woke up, I didn’t think much of the dream and focused more on the beginning of the dream. I even wrote it down in my dream journal for future reference.

You never know what kind of dream God may give to you at night. God can give you a prophetic dream when you least expect it. It is always good to be prepared when he gives you a dream.

Then around 9:10 am, I decided to log onto ABCNews.com to catch up on the latest. I discovered a breaking news headline that read:

Chardon High School Shooting….

Here is one of the headlines about the Chardon High School Shooting incident.

I couldn’t believe what I was reading. As the news began to unfold, I discovered that a football coach actually prayed while one of the children died in his arms.

As I was writing today’s blog post, God sent comforting words to mind. He said that the child is okay. He is in His warm embrace.

You never know what kind of dream God may give to you at night. God can give you a prophetic dream when you least expect it. I believe it is always a good idea to be prepared when he gives you a prophetic dream.

Make sure you have a dream journal or even a sheet of paper so that you can immediately record the dream. Then ask the Lord to help you to interpret the dream. Your dreams may be an encouragement to others during the aftermath a traumatic situation.

When was the last time you had a prophetic dream? Please share! I would love to hear details.
